Many years ago my grandmother asked if I would consider going into the seminary to become a priest. I was in junior high at the time and thought that it was possible, but then high school came and with that…..girls. So there went the thought of seminary studies. My grandmother has stalked me ever since. God and being Catholic were always first and foremost in my mind and when the opportunity to go into formation to be a deacon came about 15 years ago I decided with the help of my grandmother’s prayers to go back to school for seminary studies. I’m sure that my grandmother and God are pleased with my decision. I am grateful for my family and all the prayers of support from St Patrick’s parishioners and my grandmother for introducing the idea of clergy to me. I have enjoyed my life serving God’s people as a deacon. Deacon Terry Archbold
