Deacon Chuck and I are excited to announce the start of this fall's adult education class on "The Mass," starting Tuesday evening after the 5:30 Mass on November 7th. There will be seven sessions, one every week ending before Christmas. Each session will include videos from Bishop Robert Barron, small group round table discussions about the videos, and student handbooks to help facilitate the discussions with questions.
As Catholics, the Mass is the source of our faith. In the Mass, we most significantly come together as the body of Christ to hear God's word and to join together with Christ around His table for the sacrifice that He invites us to participate in at least every Sunday and is graciously available almost every day of the week. For many of us who regularly attend Mass, there is a risk of finding a mundane feeling while at Mass due to our familiarity with the Mass. While others who are new to the Catholic faith may want to learn more about this beautiful new mystery, they are experiencing. Either way, Deacon Chuck and I are confident that the series will offer something for everybody.
We look forward to seeing you after starting Tuesday evening, November 7th.
Please contact Deacon Chuck, Deacon Steve, or Melissa Lucas for any questions.
God's blessings,
Deacon Steve Lucas
